Lwb to Swb conversion and shop recommendations?

Hi everyone I've been lurking here for the past few weeks as I look for my first C10, I've been looking for a swb truck and have found very little in my price range. I wanted to know if anyone could recommend a shop in so.cal to perform the conversion? I've read numerous thread on the lwb to swb conversion , but do not feel confident in my chassis welding abilities and would rather leave it to a professional. I mainly want to find out if purchasing a lwb and converting it will be better for my budget.
