285/35r22 on a 9 inch wheel

Ordered a set of Centerline Smoothie's in a 22" but they only come in a 9" width. I know the recommended wheel size is 9.5-10-11. Anyone ran a 285/35/22 on a 9 inch wheel?

I'm currently running a 285/35/22 on my 22x10 rears. It actually has a little bit of extra sidewall for cushioning on that width.

Should be a perfect fit on your 9 inch wheel without any stretch.

Do you already have the tires? I ran a 265/35/22 Nitto on my smoothies I had and they fit and looked good.

I wouldn't go wider than a 265 on a 9" wheel especially with a 35 series tire. It will look funny. I had 265's on a 9.5" wheel and they were perfect.

Thanks for the info - leaning toward a 265/40/22 now. I like a little more meat as this will be a driver.
