Nice truck..... I have the same color interior. If you want the original fabric for your seats this company has it www.smsautofabrics.com.

Re: the day i brought him home pic

Thanks folks. It needs a lot of work. I bought it for my wife. That's why it's a "him". I'm the second owner. It sat in the blackberries with a camper on it since 94 and a guy I know pulled it out, don't know what happened to the camper but I have a period approx. one I am restoring. Plans are to bring it back to Fremont factory fit n finish. My wife can run a bead and likes to turn wrenches. This truck comes from serious logging country and has definitely seen some use. We are going to start frame off resto sometime next year hopefully. We like to go traveling around the west when the chance arises. Driver fender is trashed. Missing the bumper and carb. Minor rust in the usual places but the corners are sound. Po cut the radio area but I have the delete. The fate was a take off due to the camper but isn't perfect. My buddy smashed the pass wing window to open it up. The original plate has the dealer surround sold in Lebanon Oregon. I've got other projects in line first. I have to say this truck really grew on me. I like simple vehicles. This truck has no frills. My wife wants a Ramsey winch bumper and the home brew rear bumper replaced with a Braden she found on Craig's list. It's really cool to share my interests and have her receptive but she grew up on a farm in AZ and drove gramps Chevy truck in high school. My dad and uncle both had one of these trucks so maybe it's in our DNA? She points out these trucks here and there so stay tuned cuz I bet there's another one in the future Anyways thanks for the compliments. I appreciate the feedback. I love the info people have on this site. I have learned a lot so far. Plan on learning as long as I'm breathing.

Great find! I'd like to have a white top like yours eventually.

Alsriv2 - thanks. In the spots where it's nice it's nice but there are also spots that are totally gone.

Re: the day i brought him home pic

Rambler - thanks. Plan to restore it factory. Minus the bumpers and split rims.

Bruceman - thank you. It has a workhorse feel to it.

OleDollar - I can't post from my iPhone. I borrowed a computer to post these but I will post more next time I get into town. I figured out how to load pix onto a USB thingy and then a computer. Yep! I'm not tech savvy.

asolde - thanks. I've been lurking this site and reading all I can. Smsfabrics sounds like one of the better options. The maroon interior is kinda...quirky? But I hear they have it dialed. Thank also for the link.

Sicklajoie - I've been admiring your truck for awhile. I like all the color combos. One thing that caught my eye was my split rims painted body color and the ring matched the top. As of yet I've heard that's not factory but I like it. Funny but the other day I saw one on Craigslist k20 it had a black top. Black top orange wheels black rings...shoot these truck are pretty sweet in any wrapper IMHO.

Cheers!
