Please help with location of wires

Hi all,

Between the rats and my buddy who had the truck for a few years, the wiring under the dash is a mess.
I'm going to post some pictures and hopefully you can set me straight.
Thank you

P.S. How does the AC panel light up? Appears to have a light hole on each end. How would that get wired into harness.

Thank you very much

Look on your instrument cluster plug for a double gray wire in one of the pin plugs. One of those comes from the fuse panel fuse labeled pnl lights, and the other one continues on to power the lights on the heater non AC panel lights. I'll have to check the diagrams but I think it also powers the lights on the AC panel. Your pictures show the harness for the AC relay the fan and the AC switch.

Type AC wiring in the search box by your PM notifications and check the 67 to 72 chevy trucks, then click on google for more threads and info.

Which goes where? There is a 3 prong relay above glove box, but which harness plugs into it? Have two options in the pics, one being the harness with the short orange wire ( being the 4th wire ).

Re: Please help with location of wires

Based on the diagram below the blower motor relay will have the orange wire for the fan and should have a four terminal plug in. The resistor to limit the fan speeds will be the other one and the colors I highlighted should help guide the installation. The anti-dieseling relay may not be part of your harness.
