Crew cab on CL
He's selling it, the closest thing to a factory built four door crew cab I've ever seen!
He's got a build thread somewhere on here. Couldn't build the truck for what he's selling it for! http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/3834222971.html |

Re: Crew cab on CL
This guy is local to me and that truck is gorgeous in person his fabrication skills are top notch. I've bought parts from him on a few occasions.

Re: Crew cab on CL
For $65K, I think I'd go to school to learn bodywork, buy all the tools I don't have yet, rent a garage, and build one myself.

Like the first post said you couldn't build it for what he's selling it for.

Re: Crew cab on CL
I'm pretty sure I'd have money to spare, but that's probably a rare case. I wouldn't need to buy many tools, nor learn that much more than I already know. I've been a professional auto technician for 20 years. (I worked at a GM dealer for over 16 years)

Re: Crew cab on CL
That is an awsome rig! Only thing I would change is the color of the motor.

However......... I'm not so sure I could fabricate a 4th (left rear) door jamb that looks f-a-c-t-o-r-y. $65,000 is a deal, if you commissioned someone to build it as well as Randall did you'd be well into six figures. Here's his build thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=499490 |
