AVS Accuair E-Level

hey guys,

Been asking around about bags all over the place. Had some recommendations about piecing kits together but after searching, reading, more reading and more searching, AVS seems to have the kit I am looking for. But to be completely honest, I am EXTREMELY new to bags. Ive always been content with static drops. Decided to venture into a new domain.

Here is the set up Im looking at;


60-72 GM TRUCKS ACCUAIR e-LEVEL AUTO LEVELING SYSTEM

(4) EASYSTREET D2600 DOMINATOR BAG
(1) 60-87 CHEVY FULLSIZE UPPER PLATES AND LOWER CUPS
(1) UNIVERSAL REAR OVER AXLE BRACKETS
(1) 8-PIECE STEP NOTCH
(1) UNIVERSAL TRIANGULATED 4-LINK KIT
(1) 5-GALLON 6-PORT TANK (BLACK OR SILVER)
(1) VIAIR 380C COMPRESSOR

My only concern here is there are options on the compressors and bags that I dont know what they change. The compressors can be upgraded to 400c or 444c at no charge and a few other for a charge (not a big deal paying extra if its worth it)

As for the bags themselves, they come with Dominators but can be upgraded to a variety or Slam Specialties for a price. Whats the main difference Here? Wall thickness?


Thanks for your help. Like I said Im very new to bag setups so hoping this has everything I would need. If anyone sees anything Im missing or has any comments on the kit please let me know!

I would look into the porterbuilt products personally, if you're going through the trouble to step notch the back, bringing the front down to match is pretty important, and worst case, he can at least answer those questions for you

Will do. I wasnt wanting to do a drop member up front or anything, but if its one of those things I may have to. like I said, still a Novice when it comes to this stuff.

It comes down do you to your budget and how low you want the truck.You can get pretty low with out doing a dropmember and cutting.But if you want to lay frame it takes a dropmember and cutting.And before you buy from avs call up jason see if you can get a forum member discount.

besides, you don't need to lay frame to have a nicer overall driving suspension up front, and nate has options for every ride height, if I had the money (still a poor college student, at least for the next 5 years lol) I would have gotten one in a heart beat, and I don't want to lay frame at all

Laying frame is not important to me. Ride height is though. I want to ride lower and have a comfortable ride. Money isn't really a problem, not that I'm rich but I save. If I want something, I save for it. I don't mind cutting, I'm a fabricator. At least that's what my boss pay me to do, not sure I would title myself.

Thanks for the heads up on calling. I was going to anyway to make sure I'm getting the right parts for what I want.

Travis with ProPerformance here on the board is a big help. He handles all the major brands and can get good deals on package sets. He is also knowledgable and is easy to get in touch with if you have any questions.

Ok, awesome. I don't think I've seen any of his posts. I'll see if I can find him and see what hey says about product and costs. I really appreciate you guys and your help.

I would lean more to ridetech and porterbuilt products if it was me,I rather have something designed for my truck then something universal.

I am one of these newbies to the air ride world too. I have done a ton of research and talked with a bunch of people and owners of different products. The Accuair E-Level seems to be the way to go with many people using that set up on their rides. Ridetech has a good product and they have been doing air ride for a very long time. Overall the kit you listed looks complete and a good product.

Thank you. Still trying to figure out the fifferences in compressors and bags that are offered. I guess those are questions for me to ask when I call..

Travis is "ProPerformance" on here as a Gold Vendor...Look in the Suspension Marketplace section and you will find him or do a memeber search for "ProPerformance".

as for the bags
2600dm are badass bags for the price, after that your looking for more of ride quality otherwise your looking at ride heights and compressed heights

slam bags are great bags but since your new to bags i would stick with the dominators

The biggest difference in the bags is Slams don't balloon out as much as the Doms do. I have Doms all around and other than having to trim the stock sway bar so it doesn't contact the bag, it wasn't an issue. There's online debate that Slams ride better than Doms, but I've never had Slams to compare.

As for the comps, if you are being able to upgrade for free, I'd go with either the 400 or 444 duals. The main thing is fill times will be faster with either, but the 400 is for 150 psi max pressure and the 444 is for 200 psi max. Since you were going to get the 380s with a 200 max psi, I don't see why you wouldn't go with the 444's for free.

I have the eLevel in my truck and its absolutely awesome. Get the dual 400c compressors as they are the fastest fill time and you don't need 200psi compressors. Run your system at 150 psi. What truck do you have? If you have a 67-72 with trailing arms then you don't need the 4 link or the axel bag plates. Avs is good but get a quote from Travis at pro performance also. They are an Accuair dealer. As for bags. I like the slams with internal bump stops, but the dominators will work also and they are cheaper. Be sure you have drop spindles or are planning to put them in. Just adding bags won't lower you very much in front, and cut the lower cups down to 1 and 5/8". Bags will mount in place of rear coils. If you have leafs then you need the weld on bag mounts. Any questions feel free to message me.

That's ton of help, thank you. I have. 71 (well, a 69 frame) coil front a rear. When I'm ready I plan on getting a couple quotes. Avs just seems to have a package set up.

The Avs packages seem to include things you don't need. Get the Accuair dual compressor eLevel kit and the accuair compressor wiring kit. It comes with everything you need including air line. Then get the front bolt in bag plates with lower cups, and 4 bags of your choosing. Dominator d2600 are the cheapest and work perfect.
