solution to mustang gas tank issues

I found this and thought other people may be interested. note that the sender is on the top. and there is a selection of senders in different ohm ranges. the filler is also removable. kinda pricy though

The best part is the adaptability.

Doesn't strike me as pricey at all. Just over $200, what's new that's cheaper?

Yeah, 16 gallons isn't a lot and it makes you put the filler in the bed - I don't mind but I know some will. I had considered the Mustang tank before but thought you could only use a Ford sender so that wouldn't support my original gauge. At only 7-1/2" deep it'll be almost invisible once installed.

Yeah, It really is worth the extra $50 over a mustang tank. The way I figure it the sender choice is worth it. the removable filler is a bonus. If a guy has the room a filler neck wouldn't be too hard to make.
Another bonus id that the dimensions for the mounting flange is right there.
For me that works I can make removable mounting frame. and paint it later.
I am trying to get all my mounting tabs Etc. done so I can paint the frame.
