Re: Truck Cab

You can't advertise for items either for sale or requesting them without being a supporting member but the mods will let you know that soon enough.

You will most likely have to just get out and hunt for a cab with a good top and not much else that you can get. I'd check the craigslists for 100 or so miles radius to see if someone is selling parts off one or parting one out. Or jump in the daily driver pickup and take a ride on the back roads to hunt for one along with having a nice Texas back road drive.
You might call this guy down by Waco to see what else he has. http://waco.craigslist.org/pts/3881695540.html He might have the left overs from a cab or know where one is.

One thing from my own experience in the past: Set your door gaps and brace the cab well before you start installing the new roof. That will save you a lot of headaches and pulled hair in the long run.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
