starter will not turn but all other electronics do.

I started the truck for about 5 times since I put in the new starter then out of the blue the starter was not turning at all. Dead silent. But the gauges, lights and everything does. Help on any solutions

Make sure everything is hooked up correctly, check and make sure the nuts are tight on the starter.

Re: starter will not turn but all other electronics do.

When we changed the starter in my Mom's Kia we got 3 brand new starters from Auto Zone that were junk out of the box, so it is possible.

Re: starter will not turn but all other electronics do.

I would check them all. Frame to block, battery to frame, cab to block. You could also pull the starter and have it checked. Could be bad.
