Sounds like either your chain jumped, or your camshaft has a flat From the problems you described it sounds exactly like what happens when your camshaft loses it lobes. I'd take off the valve covers and turn the motor over while looking at the valves to see how much they open. If I were a betting man though I'd bet with 99.9% confidence that your cams shot.
