Goodyear Drag Radials

Got the Goodyear 315/60/15R drag radials mounted on the new 12" Centerlines this weekend. Was quite a chore for the tire guy to get them to seat but he got it done. Hope to get back to track soon to see how they do. I have not run any drag radials so hope I can get them to work on truck ok.

Re: Goodyear Drag Radials

Word of advice, either take some power out and slowly bring it back in and/or lower you ICG a little to take some hit out of the tire.

Re: Goodyear Drag Radials

Pic of new wheels and Drag radials. Looking to go to the track in a couple weeks to try out new tires. Also changed front shocks to single adjustable Strange engineering from Comp's and added frontend limiters. And sent Nitrous system to Wilson and had both systems flowed for a better starting point for tuneup. Looking to try both systems next time out to see what it will do on the drag radials.

Re: Goodyear Drag Radials

I was out there last night . You might consider test and tune at the next bracket race . The track got bald quick . There was a slick spot in the right lane at about 600-700' . Getting ready for OTM ?

Re: Goodyear Drag Radials

They run test and tune between rounds and gates open at 1 and racing starts at 3 pm and will run til late when finished . They will run test and tune til about the semi finals or so 11 ish . Heck you might even just pay for the footbrake or super pro tech card . You will get 2 time trials and get to run first round . Never know might end up going rounds . If not just put TNT on the window and run between classes .
