Everyone, I have absolutely horrible news... I can't even talk about it. It's fixable but it'll take me 2-3 weeks to get over the damage. I've got a line on most of the parts so it'll get fixed soon.

Lady didn't go and I thought she did. Damn old people in Honda civics... I'm going to start in on it on Saturday night. I'll keep everybody updated w pix.

I wanted a PB dropmember anyway and the wife knows how bad this hurts me so maybe I can talk her into it, lol.

I know how you feel. My wife rammed our truck from behind less than 10 minutes after we got it.
She thought I was going to pull away at an intersection like I would with a modern.... Now our truck will get repainted.

Like you say, it can be fixed but it still hurts.

Always hate to see pics like these, but at least your ok. The truck will be fine with some new sheet metal and paint. Looks like that HD front bumper did its job and stopped it from being any worse.

I'm fine. The frame looks okay from eye balling it. We were only going ab 20 but the headlights were the first thing to hit their bumper so that's why it looks so bad.

The bumper style is staying, I prefer the boxy style over the factory setup. I may go to a mid 90s Dodge full-size van bumper. I shd have it back and going in about 2 months.

oops...sorry to see that. As long as everybody's ok. If that hood is in good condition in the rear corners, maybe part it out? Part out what you can. dont be too quick to throw it on the scrap heap. Someone else may want to exercise their body working skills. Cant wait to see it going again! Maybe a new color? ...lol

I'm surprised you got damage that far up on the hood from the back of a civic.

If you break it down, it looks very fixable to me. I'd go with a new fender just because its a paint to get the lines right when patching one. The hood can be seperated into two, and you should be able to hammer out the dents on the flat part of the hood with a hammer, dolly, and a few days of patience.

I'd replace the lower hood skin, and since your already doing all the work, take the time to fill the split seam. I did it on my hood and its one of those "little" things that REALLY makes a difference when its said and done.

Grill probably will need to be replaced imo. Truthfully I think the only really "Bad" parts to fix will be straightening and aligning the front cross bracing and getting it to fall back into place.

PLEASE take a very careful look at the frame and be honest about the damage; it can be pulled straight or swapped for a new frame, just don't overlook it. I've seen fender bender cars never ride right again because the frame spec's were overlooked. If in doubt have a chassis shop see if its square (and not just per factory specs, which were loose at best).

Progress from last night. The grill is savable. I have a hood already. I need a fender and core support. I am probably going to go ahead and fill the seams on the hood and grill area.
