POL engine stands and ECE trans cross member problems.

trying to set my engine and trans in tonight. Its a 5.3 and 4l60e. These mounts and cross member had a 305 and 700r4 on them with no problems. Now my trans pan is hitting the cross member, it looks like it needs the mount cut and moved. and the pol stands are no where near lining up with my adaptor plates. Does anyone have this combo that has pics and can help with placement?

Re: POL engine stands and ECE trans cross member problems.

I have that combo with a 4.8/4l60, my mounts are in the rear holes, trans cross member i had loose until motor was right. then I re drilled trans cross member holes.

could it be that you have the sides crossed? i remember something about that when i did mine.
