i have a 72 in nice shape with great instrument panel with 5k tach...i am soon going to build a 383 that will have a rev limiter at 6500 rpm...so i need a tach upgrade.... i dont want to strap a ugly tach on the steering column.... ive looked at lmc and several over places but they dont have just an 8k tach , i would have to get a whole new instrument panel and its like $500...alot of money for just a tach upgrade...what i want to do is just upgrade the tach to an 8k... is there any conversion kit, or somebody that does it? any help appreciated
