Prothane radiator support mount
So I have the Prothane kit for '67-72 but the radiator support is a different diameter. The urethane mount is larger than the OE hole in the core support bracket on the frame? I searched but didn't find anything. Guess I'll make the frame hole bigger...

Re: Prothane radiator support mount
Check out the differences in the mounts.67-68 are different than 69-72.I don't recall the exact differences but someone has listed which to use when changing front sheetmetal. If you use the wrong ones the front sheetmetal will never align properly.

Re: Prothane radiator support mount
Is there a difference the same using stock mounts when using 68 frame and 71 body, if it is that explains the slight misalignment the PO did alot of messed up s*** to the truck.

Re: Prothane radiator support mount
The box indicates they are for '67-72. Guess I'll make my frame mount bigger like Chevys10dr but mine are closer to 1/8" to small.
Thanks for the replies |

Re: Prothane radiator support mount
I agree, stock rubber type are the way to go. The Poly ones tend to squeak.
