power brakes question
Hi all I was wondering if anyone had some insight on a conversion from manual brakes to power brakes. I have a 68 k10 with factory manual brakes and I want to convert it to power brakes. I was wondering if there is anything else i will need to get other than the booster and some vacuum hose and fittings like maybe a pushrod extension and mounting adapters. if anyone may know about this that would be great.

Re: power brakes question
If you can get the parts from a donor truck which will be hard to do these days, you will need everything from the brake pedal forward to the master cylinder (pedal pushrod, bracket, booster and booster to m.c. pushrod). I would use the m.c. you have if it's working good now. Just carefully move it forward to give you clearance to install the booster and booster bracket.
If you go aftermarket, they usually provide everything you need.
