Disc brake Dilemma....

Hello guys!

I need your expertise/help (GREATLY appreciated)

I have 1970 GMC SWB and I have CPP front disc brake upgrade (grand slam kit 6X5.5) I also front 5X5 axles that I won't be using...
Anywho, I am getting the rear disc brake kit for my truck and my current wheels won't clear the front calipers. (I'm assuming the rear will not either)
Sooooo...in order to avoid all 4 corners on jack stands....
My question is what stock 6X5.5 GM wheels fit my truck to use as rollers to tow to the shop for an LS swap??
I've been told 05-08 won't fit? Not sure on the accuracy as I've never tried it.
I would love to just borrow some stocks (assuming someone I know has a set that fit since they won't be my everyday wheels) if not, just finding a year that fits off Craigslist to use.

Any 71-87 4x4 steel wheels should work unless you have the big brake kit from CPP.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to the year of wheels you've mentioned...
I'm mainly limited to 01-13 wheels (because they're cheap.)
I hope one of those years will fit?
I don't believe they're the big brakes. I think I have 12" rotors?

Pictures would help but why would u be limited to the 01-13 wheels?
A set of rallys would be less than $400.00 I would think with tires.

Maybe I should've rephrased that...
Limited as in that's what I have access to without spending a lot just for rollers.
A set of 4 from 01-13 range from $50-$200 on Craigslist which is the reason I wanted to try to run a newer wheel but unsure of fitment (I have a set of 20's I'd like to run as an everyday wheel but not while at the shop)

we used to cut out 4 round peices of plywood and drill for lugnuts and use the plywood for rollin the project while under construction/// usually did not cost a cent cause we got the wood off the scrap piles

Was this done with just the frame or with everything on the truck?
After I get the rear disc brake kit on I would like to tow it to the shop to get a motor in it. I'm just trying to do this with the least amount of cash possible as I'd like to use the money for the motor and not the non-everyday wheels.
I was hoping 01-13 wheels would fit since I have access to several sets (still on vehicles so I can't just take them off and try them)
I've googled my question and have only came across a 1964 running 01/02 wheels but not sure of the axle length on that year of truck?

The center bore of the 99-up wheels is too small to directly bolt on your aftermarket 6-lug rotors.

Found a set of 6lug, yes, 6 lug draglites! I hope they fit! 15X8 all around.
Also, a set of 6 lug Titan 18" steelies. Has anyone ever tried the Titan wheels by chance?
I'll keep you guys updated on fitment of draglites.
