98 sierra 15005 2wd to 4wd using a 94

I got a 98 gmc sierra 1500 2wd with a 305 vortex automatic. I also have a 92 gmc sierra 1500 4x4 350 tbi and automatic. The 92 has pretty bad front end body damageand cab and really ain't worth fixing. But running gear and frame are fine. What I was wondering if
I could take the 92 4wd components and put them under the 98 if so what steps. Or do I just change bodys and if so what do I do about wiring. I've searched everywhere I knew for answers. Anybody know? Thanks in advance

Crawl under your truck and you'll see where the front and rear sections of the frame weld together, just about under your feet. Measure the frames carefully, they should be the same dimension. Cut the junk 2WD front end off IN FRONT of the weld so you can clean up and grind on the frame, then cut the 4WD front off BEHIND the weld so you can clean it up as well. Slip 'em together and reweld, you're golden.
