Im stuck need some advise from lifted 67-72 owners

hi all, ive been following this site for years and forgot my username password so i created new account. Anyway im doing a lift kit on a 70 k10 truck its a skyjacker 6inch kit front springs and rear blocks. the problem im having is just to get the bolts into the rear shackle of the front spring i had to push shackles all the way forward and put weight on front of vehicle just to get bolts in, how do i get the shackle to roll back ive tried prying and a come along and it wont come back its just wedged against the frame rail. i wouldnt worry to much if it had the wheel lined up in fender opening but its to far forward as if the spring needs to flatten out more and push back at the shackle. I attatched a pic of my issue. I hope there are some 4x4 guys here
