WTB SBC manifold heat stove for curved outlet manifold

WTB SBC manifold heat stove for curved outlet manifold. I had one that got stolen out of the mailbox back during tax time by thieves looking for W2's. i bought another but it is for straight outlet manifolds. I will trade it for a curved outlet stove. Will post new ad for straight stove as soon as I dig it out of storage. I dont need rhe riser tube

Re: WTB SBC manifold heat stove for curved outlet manifold

Wideside72, maybe we can get this done with three of us members. I am interested in your 4x4 straight down heat stove parts. A few weeks back I was over at forum member uncle place and he had the 4x2 angled heat stove but I didn't buy it. Send him a note, I'll also let him know you are going to inquire.

Please send pics and price of the straight heat stove parts.

Thanks

I just need the part on the manifold. I already have the tube that goes to the air cleaner.

Re: WTB SBC manifold heat stove for curved outlet manifold

I dug the stove i had out of storage and it is actually for a curved manifold. The issue is the backer plate (for lack of a better term) goes behind the manifold using all six (!) manifold bolts. I knew there was some reason I wasnt going to use it! i dont want to have to remove the manifold in order to install it,since I now have the full exhaust installed on the truck. Does anyone know if this is an early design or what the deal is?

Re: WTB SBC manifold heat stove for curved outlet manifold

Well, not sure where this one is going. Bill, I'll take the 4x4 straight down stove and pipe if Wideside72 can't use it.

Thanks
Jim

Re: WTB SBC manifold heat stove for curved outlet manifold

Just a heads up to all members: The straight heat stove will fit the 45* manifold cause that's what i'm using on mine. I had a curved one but it lacked the holes for the big bumps between the two center bolts. So the straight will fit either manifold. Jamie 71 Longhorn

Re: WTB SBC manifold heat stove for curved outlet manifold

All the straight and angled stoves I've ever seen mount around the manifold, not through the manifold bolts, so I can't help you. Does it look original? Or is it someone's handy work.

Do you mind it I buy BillsBowtie's stove that he has pictured above?

Thanks
Jim

Heres a link to the stove I have. I think I am going to use the backer from Bill's but the stove and riser femine if possible.

Interesting, shout if you do not need Bill's straight down outer section as I could use it.

Thanks
