I onced towed the same trailer with both my Jimmy (4.3L/3.42 gears) and my truck (5.7L/3.08 gears). The Jimmy towed way better with a smaller engine and larger tires. Gears are great. If you plan to run at minimum a 28" tire or larger with a 700R4, 3.73 gears are ideal.
i dont want to be that guy but the 01 had pulled 23 mpg once and its 4wd.
