I have a cluster with a tack vaccum and speed worning and the clear plastic has the air pressure on it what is the best way to take it off without scratching or discoloring the plastic. I need to put the vacuum sticker on it. thanks gary

They make stickers like that? I would see if you could use some rubbing alcohol, test it in a hidden spot first, might melt the plastic.

Not sure what's available, but if new air pressure lenses or stickers are not available, you might wanna see about selling or trading someone that lens on the parts board before rubbing it off... just a suggestion.

I don't believe anyone sells the "air pressure" labeled lense so you might want to trade or sell. You can by a new tach-vac lense for around $40-45. the air pressure is kind of cool if you run air shocks.

I just did mine and I used a few different products to try each. The best one I found is a 3M product called Finish Restorer. It is a very fine polishing compound and if you rub very hard it will take off the paint on the plastic. It also takes out very fine scatches and overall it polishes everything. Give it a try. Another product I tried was a plastic polish. Not much luck there. I tried mineral spirits but it didn't do anything.

The white paint on those gauges can easily be scraped off with a razor blade. just dont cut to deep. I put a set of durangedesign white gauges on my truck and thats how i did it. Don't use paint thinner or mineral spirits or rubbing alcohol, they will put a ugly haze on the plastic.
