Picked my 72 C10 up last week. I think someone was trying to build a C20 at some point because it has the emblems and 8 lug wheels.

Are you sure it isn't a c-20? I would check the title and vin just to be sure.

I think you're right. I just registered it last week and the title says C-10, but I found a vin decoder and it says my vin is 3/4 ton.

Thank you. Your truck is really good looking as well, the first picture if it werent for your dog in the back i would guess it to be one of those life like paintings. Looks almost too good to be really with the way photos were take. Thanks for the feedback on mine its a love it or hate it truck it seems i love it though lol.

Aw man- I feel like I just got called on to speak from a podium!

I need to hit the truck with CLR and see if I can find some more blue under the rust....

The front is pretty beat up but I have an excellent NOS grille, a new insert and a new front bumper on standby!

My local friend Kasey has got a nice patina on his 66 too-

(mines been dropped 3" front and back since these pics)

And finally- how she patiently sits right now- waiting for the heart transplant and a bunch of love!!!!

Ahhh..OK. I was a bit confused- Thanks! I don't think my truck isn't anywhere near as cool as a lot of the stuff on here- even just in this thread. Looking at these pics just shows me how far I have to go but inspire me as to how cool a ride it'll be when its done.

I stopped by the machine shop this morning- got all my questions answered and saw my buddy at his resto-shop (he had a $2MM dollar cobra in there- real deal, big block car, no bull- I couldn't believe I was standing in the same room as it). He's going to come by and take a look at mine and tell me what he thinks it'll take to do the rockers and cab corners....

Its going to look a whole lot different in the next few weeks to months. My wife said my box of The Truck Shop parts finally came in and I just ordered $600 worth of engine stuff at Summit today. Going to start bringing parts to the machine shop and talk to my body shop guys about fixing the front fenders, rockers and cab corners (all below the lower molding so I can keep the rest of the paint). A busy winter should make for a fun spring/summer though!
