Doesn't look like a Dana 60 front axle, either.

Not that I'm really looking, but I found this one local to me. Seems to be a little high priced for my liking.

I put this up on another site since I have had people ask about selling my K30's. It would take about 8500 to buy both of mine as a pair. That is the only way I would sell them at this time. Just sayin.

There is a nice one on the Lexington, KY Craigslist. Has a plow though.

Re: Why can't I find a 1 ton dually 4x4 locally?

Hi fellas. I'm new here but I do have a line on a '90 4x4 crewcab 1 ton dually, from PA and now in Indy. Right now it is a cab and chassis, sure it is all original - less bed.

454, th400, 4.10 gears, dana 60 and 70, I'd have to check the T-case to fill-in that blank.
Black, red interior, needs rockers. There is a single wheel D70 4.10 rear available also, ( in case you'd want a regular bed), or a flatbed that fits it as is.

It is not going for much $ either.

Re: Why can't I find a 1 ton dually 4x4 locally?

Is this line you have something that you are pursuing? Or did you mention it with the hopes that maybe someone on the board might be interested?

If you posted for others, I'd definitely be interested in seeing the truck and knowing what the asking price is. Thanks!

And $8,500 for both huh? I wasn't aware that you had a single wheel k30 as well. I'd definitely be interested in seeing that truck!

I am assuming you might be addressing me? On another board I have had several people asking if I would sell my silver 85 K30 dually (in avatar pic). I figured if they were really interested then I would put it out there but as most things go I have heard nothing back from the askers.

If I sold it I would have to replace it which I know where there is one that might fit the bill. I don't want to sell any of them but if the money was right then I might change my mind like anything else. Both of my K30's are dual rears. The 84 is a C&C and the 85 is a pickup. Not really sure I would part with the C&C after thinking about it since I posted that. It takes 6800 to buy the one that I would be looking at but doubt I ever buy it.

I only posted this incase someone may be interested. (..and I'm sure it has a np205, I'll check to be sure).

I only just found this site but it saves you the hassle of having to search through every individual area in your state on Craigs list and just search the whole state. Here's the link for PA.

I use searchtempest.com Just type in what you are looking for, zip code and how far you want to look and it will search all the craigslist listings for you. Multiple states all at the same time.

Thanks for the heads up on this site you posted about. I have used it a few times briefly but seem like its pretty good. Just wish they showed the thumbnail pictures so I could look at the pic and tell if I wanted to click or pass on it. Allthough I have noticed that it doesn't pick up everyone that is on CL for some reason.

Well I went and looked at Dooley's truck on Saturday. The truck was exactly like advertised. So like a fool I passed on it. Now I am regretting it. I don't think I'll ever see such a low mile truck again let alone be able to buy one. Oh well I guess live and learn.

Re: Why can't I find a 1 ton dually 4x4 locally?

The 454 engine was built a while back by Roseville engine machine. I don't know exactly they put in the engine, but they paid $5000 to have it built. It will pull anything and runs on pump gas. It is still in the truck and its $2200 for the complete truck. This truck runs and drives great right now and will pass anything but the gas station. All of the other parts are in the bed. They were taken off for paint.

I wish I knew how to make these big like Joe did. I am pretty sure I am going to buy this one. I don't think I'll find one much nicer.

I know where 3 1 ton dually 4x4's are and I believe two are fuel injected and all original with Alcoas and new tires all less than 100k. There are sweet but come with a hefty price tag
