Cheap trans yoke.

Took my truck out for a test ride after installing new exhaust and doing a little tuning. My luck with the cheap trans yoke ran out. Best guess is trans yoke broke and drive shaft caught on the drive shaft loop wedging it's self between the loop and the trans. Trans and convertor are less the 2 months old. Lesson learned.

Sorry to hear that man!

Do you think the trans can be saved with an Ultra bell?

Re: Cheap trans yoke.

Trans is cracked into the pan rail and cracked right before the tail housing. Not sure if internals are damaged yet. Have another I am dropping off at the trans shop Monday.

Re: Cheap trans yoke.

Your just lucky that you had the driveshaft loop, if you hadn't I'm sure we would be reading about you pole vaulting your truck instead.

Re: Cheap trans yoke.

After this little episode I am a believer in loops. That is for sure.
