Re: LQ9 Build for 1972 Blazer
Pulled the trigger on the 6L80e transmission and 6.2L engine accessories today from RetroLS. Shawn gave me a little bit of a price break so I'm satisfied with the deal we made. Got a ton of work to do but at least I'm moving forward. To date here is what I've got:
2009 LY6 Block (144,000 miles) L92 Heads Cleaned, Valve Job, & Milled .015, PAC 1218 springs installed. Mast Motorsports VVT HO cam 6l80e ECM Wiring Harness - Still need to send off to be modified....Seller recommended Speartech? Pedal Power Steering Bracket & Pump Water Pump AC Compressor Alternator Intake Injectors Fuel Rails Throttle Body Coil Packs w/Plug Wires MAF Next items on the list: Send off harness for modication.....suggestions welcome? Getting hydraulic lifters or Stock LS7 lifters....RetroLS recommended this since the heads were off.......what do you guys think.....worth the $150? Cam Phaser Limiter Kit....Read I need this to ensure no interference between pistons & valves due to installing VVT cam? Headers Fuel Tank Radiator Dirty Dingo 67-72 4x4 LS Swap Crossmember And the list will go on......I'll stop here tonight so I don't overwhelm myself! |
