heater/ac/defrost duct hose

Can anyone tell me if it is worth it to buy the duct work package from sellers or is it better just to get the 2 3/4 inch duct hose in bulk from the parts store. I am going to replace all the duct work under the dash and was just curious, I have no problem buying the packages if need be just wondering. Thanks Jerry

Re: heater/ac/defrost duct hose

I bought an "OE" kit from our local vendor, Outback truck parts.

It seems to be 3 different diameters and pre-cut lengths also. I'm not sure how easy the different sizes would be to purchase at the parts house.

I found it easier to install with the instrument cluster, glove box and radio removed.

Re: heater/ac/defrost duct hose

I have heat only but got 6 feet at vato-zone for $11. Tight fit on the defrost ducts but works well. I actually broke one of my vents in the process but it had been baking for 42 years and was due for replace anyway
