If you have homemade brackets, I would start by sourcing the right brackets (again, the bigger parts sellers on this board would be a good place to start), then see where your ps pump _should_ be, then go from there.

If you can find a junkyard engine that has all its brackets and pulleys, you can shortcut this process a lot, but those are hard to find these days.
