I'm glad someone stepped in!!!! I've noticed in the past week a couple of "new" members that seem like they have an attitude and smarta** remarks, plus the language is uncalled for. This is a great site so lets keep it that way....

Well said Mark. Ordinarily new folks settle in once they realize the nature of this forum and soon begin to follow others posting behaviors. Due to the popularity of this website our volunteer staff is out numbered in a huge way. The best way to curb questionable posts is to report them so they can be reviewed and handled accordingly.

I must have been fortunate enough not to see any "questionable" posts. I love this site and was fortunate enough to find a Senior member that lives close to me that has helped more than I could ever have imagined. Thanks so much Jim Kemp!

Thanks guys for the support. I'm not down on any particular people, its something I noticed and its just nice to be able to post stuff that might be an odd question in some way or another and not get slammed by it.

There are lively debates here all the time without anyone getting nasty over it. Such as, should I cut my dash for a radio LOL.

Looking forward to another good year here on the board ... Hopefully we will actually work on the panel and Ill get some pictures posted. Gotta get that 62 Ford Unibody with the Chevy drive train and the Mopar suspension real reliable first. Now that would get some panties in a bunch on other forums .... LOL.

And, is your mention of the 62 unibody a build that is actually happening? Could you send me a couple pics? Good friend of mine is building one and he has combined the big three into his.

Like I said this isn't on any particular thread or person. If you made a post with pics of a girly calendar it probably got a lot of views, and if it didn't get reported or deleted it must have been ok.

Most of us here are guys, and most guys like the pretty girls =) My attitude on having that kind of stuff around, or hanging in my garage has changed a ton. I grew up with three brothers, no sisters (well I do have a half sister, but I've probably only seen her four times in my life). I have two sons and no daughters. Any calendar I did have up was never offensive enough to be disturbing to my wife.

But now I have three grand daughters and I just wont have that kind of stuff out at all. Its not a message I want them to associate with their grandpa.

Thank you for posting this. Yes, I have seen a little meaness as well. I've only been a part of this forum for about 6 months and found it refreshing at the level of acceptance in individual taste. The "PURE-ests" here are are very good at biting their toungues. Unlike those Rabid F-body guys. ( my brother is one of those guys). There are some mods I don't like but keep in mind that its NOT my TRUCK or money.

I enjoy the friendly discourse when it occoures and greatly enjoy the clean language and respect.
For all members, Remember, we do this because we love OUR trucks. The 67-72 body is a rare timeless design and we a lucky, blessed actually, to own and drive these trucks.

I'd also like to add, that if you're reading this, you're somewhat new (or not), and you think it may be about you, just assume it is. You'll be warned, then you'll be banned. Pissing matches and belittling other members is not tolerated, no matter how right you think you may be. I have personally hung out with the owners of this site and lots of the moderators. Very cool people. This place is awesome and we all intend, and will, keep it that way, so if you didn't bother to read the rules when signing up, consider this a warning

I am new here. I am also a member of some other forums. One in particular is not moderated to be family friendly and I can tell you.. The level of maturity and foul language gets worse all the time. Since finding my 69 K10 I have been here daily. Seems to be a great bunch with a wealth of knowledge and experience. So.. to the admin and moderators.. Thanks for a job well done. I've been here for awhile and am in the 60-66 forum...but Thanks CG for starting this thread.....This is my favorite site and I have very much enjoyed being a member here. I have run into rough language and girl pictures which I do not care for. I prefer to respect girls and treat them as sisters in Christ. But I don't say anything because we all have different views, and who am I to say anything. If someone posts something I don't care for I don't read it. I find it easier then reporting it, because I try to stay on the good side of members here. But Thanks for posting this thread CG. T.J.

By FAR, this is the best forum out there. Everyone is helpful and seems to play by the old saying "If you don't have something good to say, then don't say anything".
A lot of other forums are full of critics and salesmen, glad that doesn't happen here. I owe a thank you to this site and members for helping me out with my questions, parts and build ideas. Welcome to any new comers and enjoy this forum!

Hello, greenhorn here. I am truly amazed at the help that is available here. I bought a 67 stepside in November. As a guy who is not the most mechanically inclined, this site has been a god send for me. This site is truly a great example of how forums in a whole can and should work. I have spent many hours searching for answers for questions I have here and I get the feeling I could ask any question here, however mundane, and get honest and respectful answers. A special kudos to the people who take the time to document progress with photos. You guys have helped me tons!! Happy new year to all!
