What about model trucks?

Here is one I am working on now. The first pic shows what it USED to look like. The paint had some flaws so I stripped it all down.

Orange Mist 72

Here's the possible 4x4...

I can't see it . I wish they would make a 81-87 model truck. I've seen 73-80. I think.

Here's a Gasser style Blazer I've been working on. I usually sit here and build models while I surf the net.

I am looking for a Black 1972 Blazer with White Top, Ralley Wheels and 35's. Mine looks all stock except the lift and tires on the Ralley Wheels. Thanks

1972Blazer, ther was a 72 blazer model done ALONG time ago. th only place ive ever seen them was on ebay. They usually go for a pretty penny though. I'll see if i can find one. As far as your lift and tires, the lift would have to be scratch built and I know a resin caster that makes larger tires.

1972Blazer- The kit your looking for is called the Boondocker Blazer. They are pretty pricey. That's the kit the above Blazer was.

There is a BoonDocker listed on Fred's Model World (http://members.aol.com/jftully/fjs/new.htm) for $5. Here is the description:

T200 72 Blazer Boondocker-built and disassembled, no engine $5

I have one of the Ertl cast '69 Blazers that I painted to match my truck. I've got some bigger tires and leaf springs for it, I just need to put it all together.

Question Model or Diecast... does it matter?

Here are a few of mine. Mostly diecast that I have modified.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

hey ChevyGuyBC, I think tjere was a model made along time ago but most likely it was a stepside. your best bet is to het the new 84 gmc 4x4 and an older chevy 2wd kit and switch cabs. i know of one place that still has the 73-80 2wd (stepside) kit forsale. i'll take a look and make sure they still have it listed.

Not sure what year this is. Was issued as a mud bog truck. It's from 1982.
