Should I ask if its for sale?

Thought I would start posting pics of trucks parked in fields or yards around here. Some I may stop and ask, others not. Post what you see or find and if you asked or bought it. I guess almost like cars in barns pictures.

Re: Should I ask if its for sale?

There used to be a boat load of trucks here several years ago, sitting in fields, but the impending building boom has just about cleared everything out, I have to go further in the hills....

Re: Should I ask if its for sale?

I would. I'm sure you already know about asking open ended questions. I'd ask "what are your plans for that truck". I've found that if you can get them talking your chances of being able to buy it go way up.

That truck looks familiar. I hope you get it and it's a solid truck.

Here's what we started with.

If you ask, the answer could be yes, could be no.

If you don't ask, the answer is always no!

That gray and white suburban looks really nice. Hard to find not rusted down. You need to go ask price.

Re: Should I ask if its for sale?

If I remember right ... That's the same two Burbans that I looked at about 1-2 years ago or so ... The nice looking one is so badly rusted inside , floors everything ... It looks better in pictures ...The second burban needs some work , but its there to swap everything over from the nicer one to it ... It was a little overpriced , and the work ... I passed .. But to each there own ...

Re: Should I ask if its for sale?

Those two burbs were for sale on craigslist a year or so ago for about $1800 if I remember correctly.
