292 Straight Six
Hey guys, I have a 292 I was going to use for my 54 project but have decided to do something different. It is a 73-84? model and is in great shape. It was in my buddies 67 and I bought it when he did his v8 swap. It did not smoke, make noise, etc. Only thing it needs is a valve cover gasket. It is complete from air cleaner to oil pan and includes everything you need to run it except whatever flywheel you need depending on your transmission. All ignition parts, fan pulleys, etc included. Needs to go, looking for $700 for everything but somewhat NEGO, dont be afraid to throw offers out there. Thanks fellas.

Re: 292 Straight Six
Thats mighty tempting... bit too far out from Atlanta though with the current running condition of things around here to go after right now though.
Is this an integrated head motor? |

Re: 292 Straight Six
I might be interested for $500, would you consider crating and shipping (I pay the shipping of course), would need to see PIC first. It would be to 78737. Thanks.

Re: 292 Straight Six
I will get some pictures tomorrow for ya. If you are willing to set up having someone come pick it up I will put it on a pallet, strap it down and build a crate around it. If something happens to it it is on the shipper though. I will not charge anything to pallet and strap/crate it for you.

Re: 292 Straight Six
I'm still interested, been a little busy and slow to get back to you. Looking to get a price on the shipping and find someone to do door to door. Have suggestions. If I can get it here (TX) for a reasonable price, I will take it.
Thanks, Ken |

Re: 292 Straight Six
Bumping it up. Will trade for a good 4l60e, or a solid stepside bed. (Dont need the fenders, just bed itself)

Re: 292 Straight Six
I don't want to give up my power steering on my 250!!! If you HAVE to get rid of it, you can always drop it over in Garner.... ya know... just to get it out of your way....
