does anyone know the right size/pitch(if it even matters) for bolting the front crossmember to the frame? it would be awesome!

I have mine sitting on the garage floor right now, so as soon as I get home from work I will take a look for ya. (Unless someone answers prior to me getting home).

Re: crossmember bolt size(s)?
What year truck ? I don't see a 67-72 in your sig.
A 67-72 C10 uses 7/16-14 x 1.5" (fourteen bolts). Could be shorter but that's what the general used.

Re: crossmember bolt size(s)?
So double checked for a c20 and they are the same as c10. So Dan (67c10rustbucket) is correct. Oh and make sure you use all grade 8 hardware when you replace.

Re: crossmember bolt size(s)?
there are a total of 14 bolts. there's 6 - 1/2" bolts with unique "squared" flat washers with lock washers and nuts that go vertical thru the inside of the frame having the nuts in the frame . 4- 7/16" with a unique flat washers and a lock washer that thread from the inside of the frame. and then 4- 7/16" bolts with just lock washers and nuts that go so the nuts are outside of the frame
