Re: headlight knob issue on 1970 C20

Before you put your new switch in, google "headlight relay upgrade" on this site and do that upgrade. The stock design from GM has WAY too much resistance in all the wires between the battery, that switch, the dimmer switch, and the lights. Resistance = heat and heat kills the switch. When you run the headligts off the battery through a relay you eliminate about 20 feet of too small of wire, make your headlights brighter, and just repaced your last headlight switch on that vehicle.
