1965 C10 Long Bed
Hello everyone. Well i finally scraped and dug until i found a 65 that fit my standards. I went and picked it up yesterday and didnt get in till 02:30 this morning.
I have plans for it, just not pulling the trigger on some major stuff until i fully decide about the direction im wanting to go. I nee to do some research on this board and other sources. Anyway, Here are some pictures and video. I had the waterproof back on my GoPro. So the sound quality is garbage. I like the vids! Sound quality is ok. So what plans do you have for the truck? Looks like a good stock frame off...

Re: 1965 C10 Long Bed
Congrats on your latest acquisition! She's got a healthy coating of patina, but the truck looks really solid. That color is one my favorites, too.
It's a smart move to plan out your attack before you drop the hammer. Oftentimes, guys get way too focused on the teardown that they don't have a clue what they're hoping to build it back into. If you're just looking to turn it into a patina'd driver, you're not far away at all. After having high dollar paint jobs in the past, I have come to love the spotlessly cleaned patina trucks.

Im hoping 250. However if the after market partsd interchange i will still be happy. Intake and headers, cam etc... Yep i was right. FA = 230 140hp 1Bbl 3 speed. So engine is Canadian 230 ci Sad Now to see what interchanges . Last edited by Lowl!f3; 03-02-2014 at 12:39 AM. |
