Well I just went out and bought another truck... I can't help it, it's part of my afliction. It is a 70 GMC 2500 Custom W/AC. It has a great running 350 and the body is almost entirely rust free too. It has been partialy dissasembled by the PO and the frame has been cut on it.
I think I see a short bed fleetside project in my future...

Pics will come tomorrow once I get it home...

Oh, and don't say anything to my wife.. At least just not yet...

Funny thing is, I contacted the owner of the 67 you posted but have not heard back yet. Don't need a garage for that one and soon nobody to complain.

Ok, Here we go as promised. It doesn't look like much, but it is an A/C truck and the cab, doors, and front fenders are rock solid, and the motor runs great. No smoke and no bad noises. The radiator core support is bad as is the right front inner fender. WES

Well if I can put together enough parts to build a nice short bed that would be great. I already have a pristeen 68 front clip. I didn't need another project, but this is a disease I am aflicted with.

So I guess for now it time to watch for a short bed frame and bed. I do have a 1/2 ton long bed chassis that I can shorten if I need to. Decesions, decisions....

Nice... I would rather not do things that way, but when the truck was slated for the crusher and the chassis I am thinking about is also slated for the crusher, well then I look at it like I am bringing 2 trucks back from the brink..

The engine isn't pretty, but it sure runs good... PO says that it came out of a 73 or 74 Camaro. Supposed to have had a recent rebuild.
