Also, I wouldn't pass up using an engine driven compressor. Sanden 507 or 508. And don't rule out a York either. You can get these at almost any scrap yard.
On th sanden. Since they are wobble plates. Take it completely apart and clean it out as much as possible. Then pack all the parts with a good grade of marine grease to cut down on condensation. Put a inline water catch before the tank as well.

On the York you can use oil in the crank case of those.

These will outlast any electric ones if done correctly and taken care of.
However it is always nice to have electric for backup or visa versa.
