New Shop

Woot. My landlord is letting me move my office to another unit with a 40 x 30 warehouse I can use for my truck. Looking for a 4 post hoist and ill be good to go. Ill get pics when I move over. It will be really nice have a wide open space for my blast cab and tools and truck.
I hate leaving my truck outside now that I put new wheels and tires on it so illbe able to keep it inside and still work on other cars at the same time.

square footage is aonly slightly bigger so rent isnt going up much. My business has changed so I need much less space for "working on stuff" so that space is being converted to my workshop.

I cant wait!!

Also if anybody has a 4post hoist for sale in socal hit me up.

Ill be renting out space to all you socal guys working in your parking lots. We''l just trade hour for hour on body work on my truck
Just kidding if you guys need a spot to work let me know.

Re: New Shop

going to start moving my stuff in today. Had to get a lift to install additional shelves like the one you see there now. Then a lot of heavy lifting. That compressor is going to be a nightmare.

Re: New Shop

i cant believe I had all this crap in the old shop. It already feels like 10 pounds of crap in a 5 pound bag.

So after sweating about the compressor for a week my buddy is just going to bring the skid steer over and load it up

Almost done with the shop. Now I can relax and spend the next 2 weeks slowly moving the office.

Re: New Shop

I take it the floor is staying as is? I bought my first house in October and will need to convert my garage back to an actual garage! First the garage door needs fixed then its either tile flooring or use some sort of epoxy coating.

Re: New Shop

its a rental unit. My office is in the front. I had the chance to move from my current unit to this one. My old place just had a small back area.

So yea the floor is staying as is. Crossfit was in before us and had the whole floor covered in mats. I was thinking that would be cool until I thought more about it. Had them take it out. everything rolls so nice on this smooth concrete.

Re: New Shop

My cousin gave me a couple grand worth of nice shelves from his old warehouse. Finally got room to put all my car parts in an organized way.
I like shelves.
