Question 76 C10 Fuel Reading

My truck is the world biggest optimist. The fuel gage reads full, very full, like the needle is horizontal to the right. Shown as red in the photo. So what do you think, sender unit?

Normal problem you get in each truck, open the lid and clean the complex electrical wiring

Use W40

Funny, but now my tank is nearly empty and it still reads way past full.

Re: 76 C10 Fuel Reading

over full seems to be a broken sender wire, hard to say where
(simple test)
ground that wire and it should go to E if everything else is good
