Thanks for all the comments folks. It will be the weekend before I can spend any time getting the front wheels on unfortunately. I'm still trying to decide on spacers or grinding. Andy your truck is sharp, its very obvious that you've put in a lot of work to get it that nice.

Here's an idea. .. pick up some spacers. I'd do 3/8". Run them on the front and just make sure you like the look. If you do decide you want to run them on this truck,.. do the rotor mods and move your spacers to the back.. IMO it would help the look of the rears anyway..
Just thinking out loud. Either way, your truck will look great. I like it either way and just having a change every now and then is not a bad thing. Keep both sets and switch back and forth. The rallys would work with the 2/4" drop too. Just saying ![]()

I did buy spacers as a temporary solution. I picked them up at Auto Zone, 5/16". Here are a few pictures.

How much tread do you actually have in the nut after the wheel thickness is subtracted? I don't like spacers for that reason. I would think about longer studs.

Longer studs are extended thread lug nuts that go down through the spacer. That's what I bought.

In my case the spacers are temporary. I don't intend on keeping them as I will not take any chances of losing a wheel at highway speeds. You'll have to decide for yourself if they are safe or not. Here is are a couple of links I came across when researching the topic. "Make sure you have a minimum thread engagement of the diameter of the vehicle stud (as recommended by SAE). An example is, if the stud size of your vehicle is ½" then you will need a minimum of ½" of threads into the lug nut."
