What leadfoot said. I see people all the time spending $1000-$1200 on ones they gotta rebuild and do this and that to. Me personally, I would rather buy one that doesnt need anything and throw it in and run it. But thats just me. Also depends where you are from. Maybe if you (not you personally) live out in the boonies where there is nothin but farm land, you can get them for cheap, not around here though. I see them from $12-$1800.
Btw, no need to reply to my post if you arent interested

Mine was $1800 for a new one that came from a State of Oregon surplus auction. Start diggin through them old junkyards. What is odd to me is many times you can buy the whole truck for 1200 bucks because a lot of people don't know what they have.

Its usually cheaper to just buy a whole truck, if somebody wants just the D60 they don't want a big K30 sitting in their back yard hehe. If I had 1000 bucks I would probably buy that truck from ya, but I don't have any extra money right now.

It may not make sense, but it is a fair price. Remember, if you buy a K/30 for $1k and take the front axle, you gotta do something with the rest of it...and not everyone can just go park it in the lower 40 and never have to look at it again. Plus buying a whole truck, you might not know what condition the axle is in, with this you get an axle that is entirely reworked, plus no headache of where to put the rest of the truck, or the headache of removing the axle itself from the truck. Good luck with your sale.
also, playtoy1, you have PM.
