What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?

Pickup forum has a similar thread so why not K5's?

Had 3.73's and a front posi installed in my Blazer today and upgraded to a better shade of blue hub actuator dials.

What did you do today?

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?

Two steps forward: installed an internally regulated alternator and hooked up the auxiliary battery

Two steps back: discovered an antifreeze leak that tells me the heater core is bad and my fancy Oldsmobile AC compressor belt shield won't fit because of the CA emissions brackets required for the compressor Will post this for sale, it's a cool add

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?

I swapped the old RH rear CST panel for a repro and scrubbed the slider windows I was able to track down. Not sure I'm thrilled about the tint. Only set I've seen that's a factory tint - frames are black.

Hey deadheadnm, where did you get the repro panel in the saddle? Just what I'm looking for.

Those came via Brothers Trucks. I've since learned that forum member Truckseats can get these also. He's provided me with two excellent sets of covers for my pickups. Send him a PM.

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?

I made patterns out of box board, took em to a shop that water jetted them from 3/16 aluminum, sand sand sand and polish. More work to the lenses to make them fit just right though. Thank you for the compliment; my Blazer is full of little things that took MAJOR time and effort that you have to point out to people if I want them to notice.
