thanx Sven.

well i got the m/t moved forward now by using the V8 towers. but now i did have to trim the cross support on the cab for alittle extra clearence so i can get the m/t to sit at the proper angle. will have pics tomorow evening.

well i wasnt happy with the way the m/t sat. so i modifyied the 6cyl. towers and trans crossmember which i had laying around here and now i have to my liking. still need to do alittle welding and grinding here and there but will finish that up when i get the cab back off.

managed to get the cab corner done friday after work.

havent touched the truck in about 2 months. i had finished up work for the season, sold the 83 gmc and snagged a 77 swb with 60k on the clock. so i been busy tinkering on it and also hepling my buddy clean up his shop alittle and got his 350/700 all cleaned up and dropped into his 81 swb. so hope to jump back on it in a week or so once i clean my shop alittle. will post updates then

well im back working on the IHC for the past few weeks now. bought a nicer cab for it from a L-170. just got the cab mounts figured out yesterday. now i am going to be running a V8 in it. been working on filling in a few holes on the firewall, got m/c brake pedel bolted up. gonna be getting steering column bolted in and a few other things tomorrow.

So......technically you have 2 trucks then! One IH chassis and cab, and another Chevy chassis and IH cab?

i posted a few updates on the HAMB, here are a few pics got he new cab and frame set up but as of now i pulled the cab to clean the floor and bottom of it to prime and bedline. hopw with in the next week i'll get the cab back on the frame for good. for front cab mounts i used a pr of 6 cylinder motor cradles. i went and bedlined the firewall. i also got the dash painted and will be getting the inside of the cab painted this week also.

Careful on the HAMB. You gotta keep it traditional or they'll eat you alive!

havent had to much grief on the HAMB, have lot of other ih guys followin along on the build.will get more pics by the weekend as im working on getting the dash together and ready to bolt in when im ready for it.

Awesome to see another International being fixed up! There's very few of these trucks where I'm from; can't believe that you're finding donor trucks! I'm working on a '55 R-112 at work. Great work, and I can't wait to see more progress!

I'm rather surprised at how often I see them now that I have one. I can't count on two hands how many I've seen since I got mine 2 years ago.

well i set the cab back on the frame, was working getting the running board brackets on but i do need to set the bed on to line everything up correctly.
anyway i got the dash painted and slowly getting everything put back on it. i went and put a couple screws in it to give ya all idea of the direction im going.

the dash and trim does look white in the pics but its actually machinery gray.

another pic of the dash basically every thing together. need to clean and paint the parts for the cowl vent and get that all back together, then i can get the firewall covered on the inside before i mount the heater box and a few other items

thanx, i has to scrounge the yard today to find 2 other knobs to match the headlite switch, of course i found the other 2 out of a early 70's IH pickup.

couple of updates, started putting in firewall/toeboard insulation and getting the wire harness in place. also messed around with the idea od a new floor shifter, still need to make a rear mounting for the setup and all will be good.
