68 chevy pickup sbc to bbc swap ?? mounts
Hi I have a 68 c20 on a 4x4 frame it had a 350 abd in it now I'm going to a big block 402 I plan on using headers do I need to just get the big block towers for the frame and then use the old small block mounts with some large washers or what do u guys recommend were is the best place to buy the towers if I need them any info appreciated I attached a pic of frame mounts

Welcome to the board 1968. GM never put a BB in a 67-72 4x4 so you will have to use what you've got for mounts. The other problem is the firewall will be tight. Some people hammer the firewall, others use a body lift for clearance.
But it has been done many times.

Check out my build thread. I used the small block mounts but had to shoved the driveline back 2 inches which caused clearance issues with the transfer case and the floor.
