Cool

I had a 1970 longbed fleetside in high school that was always called Big Red, So the 1969 that I drive now is called the BR2 ( short for Big Red 2 ) The trucks had the same paint scheme Red with a White top, lickely the BR2 is a lot nicer truck that Big Red was.

Depends on my mood and how she's treating me at the time.

Sometimes I call her Baby, or Sweety, or Darling, or My Dream, or The Beastrolet.

Other times I call her Pile of Sh!t, or F**king Pile of Sh!t, or C*ck Smokin' God Foresakin' Ugly Assed Worthless Motherf**kin' Pain in my Ass Hunk o Sh!t.

I try to make the first times outnumber the second times, but it doesn't always work that way.

one of my memories that never dies is riding next to my Dad as a little boy in his 48 chevy pickup. When ever he was pulling a heavy load or a steep hill he would reach out and pat the dash a couple of times and say " atta girl Nellie You can do it" and look at me with a grin and a wink. So to answer the question, All my trucks are Nellie

Jake Junior

My dad had a 64 Ford that we used for runs to the dump, smelly old bouncy thing he named Jake was very cool. It was supposed to get passed on to me...but you know how that goes. So anyway, my son's name...for no related reason, is Jaycob and now Jaycob and I have an old truck to fart around in.

So my truck is named Junior, Jake Junior or JJ.

When faced with a similar situation, my grandfather, my father, and now I will put our hand on the dash and tell our young passengers to "Push! Push hard!" My father also has a tendency to go into a "Whoa horse!" Yosemite Sam routine when braking hard. He also had/has a rather nasty habit of waiting until his passenger (usually me) had just fallen asleep and then smacking the vinyl bench seat with all of his might and yelling, "Bang!"

Both my grandfather and my father's old trucks are nicknamed "Old Blue" and I call mine that more often than not.

My wife dubbed my Blazer "BOUNCYTRUCK". It is fitting with the short wheel base of the Blazer and the big tires.

the Old lady I bought mine from called it "Old faithful" because she didn't have any trouble with it. Since I have bought it it hasn't quite lived up to the name but after all that's been done to it I assume it probably will earn its old name back....

It started off calling it my baby but after I got it on the road that all changed. At that point I call my truck "The B!tch" Because that is just what it was, a money hungry, uncooperative, manipulative b!tch. Something was always going wrong and what ever it was, it was expensive.
Now that I took it off the road, it is just "The Truck" and thats what I'm gonna stay with.
