17" FJ cruiser wheels
Hi I am just wondering if I need spacers for the 17" FJ cruiser steel wheels. I have a 64 step side. And if so how thick?

If anyone else is interested in this I used 1" spacers and trimmed a little off of the rear fenders.

Did your drums have rivets? Newer wheels may not tighten up if so.

It did have rivets on the fronts but the holes in the spacers lined right up. I will get a picture when it is not raining.

Thanks man. It was really just the theme I went with when building the truck. Rarely drink anything maybe that's why I can get away with it. LOL

How did you make that bed cover and how is it attached? Is it easy to remove? Is it heavy?

I welded small angle iron in the bed for the wood to sit on and so I can screw the wood in place. I could have used channel so the wood just slides in and is held in place though. Might be a future upgrade. Used what I had at the time. I had some old wood laying around. I cut 5 or 6 boards the width of the bed. Put them on the angle and stapled a sheet of vinyl to the boards keeping them tight. Then I cut the boards needed the length of the bed. Then I screwed the top boards to the bottoms keeping the vinyl tight. Then I screwed the cover to the angle in the 4 corners so I could remove it quickly when needed. Haven't had to remove it yet but I can easily take it off and on by sliding it off and putting it in the bed.
