hard fiberglass Tonneau Cover

went to a esstat sell and i bought a fiberglass tonneau cover;;there was 2 83--84 chevy long box trucks there also so i aSSUMED THE COVER CAME OFF THEM[COVER WAS RED AND ONE TRUCKS WAS RED]..LONG STORY SHORT GOT HOME WITH IT TO INSTALL AND NO FIT;;MY BED IS SAME SIZE FRONT AND REAR[84]THE COVER IS NOT;;IT IS WIDER ON ONE END THEN THE OTHER;;THINKIN MUST BE FOR NEWER TRUCK;;I REMEMBER SOMEONE TELLING ME FROM 86 OR SOMEWHERE IN THAT YEAR THEY DID THIS ON CHEVY TRUCKS;;CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT YEAR THEY DID THE TAPERED BED..TRYING FIND OUT WHAT YEARS COVER WILL FIT..

nice truck and good "how to";;still need to sell mine..since i got it i went to a 38 foot car trailer that is goose neck and i put a cowboy sleeper on it that i mounted a turbo wring on to help sweep air up over car trailer when towing it;;only asking $200.00 for cover and have everything including key for lock;;just hard to sell on line due to expream large and heavy;;shipping kill a person..at my price and costy shipping still be good buy since they are around $1100 and up new...i just need to know what years chevy went to the taper bed so i can list it local with the years it fits without cutting on it;;by way you did one heck nice job on your fabication;;

VTX-BLACK;;;;here is my truck;;going paint it pearl black and want to do some checkered flag design on it to flow into my trailer paint design BUT like to find some that knows how to use "paint shop" or what ever it's called[maybe it's "photo shop"]to do it on there first to see how look first before i do it;;paint to expensive to do and if not like sand off and redo plus i don't have much spare time..why truck not painted yet but someday i'll get time..
