Hello....

Good Morning Everyone,

I thought it would be a good morning to post and introduce myself. The story started 12 years ago when my dad brought home a 1967 C10 Step side short bed from Sacramento for $800. Over the next year or so I helped him tear down the front end and build the truck. Life got busy with me getting married and having the opportunity to serve our great country in the military.

Fast forward to today. My dad had kept the truck all those years. Most of the work was done by a local hot rod shop. A couple weeks ago dad asked me if I wanted the C10 to finish. I was so excited when he asked me if I wanted it. I have always enjoyed working on cars. My first truck was a 1965 GMC with the big V6.

So here she is. The motor is a 283 bored .40 over with RV cam with 4 on the floor. Dad also had it changed to 5 lugs.

I have lots of plans for her in the future.

Thanks man. It's chopped 3". That is one thing I wish dad didn't do. Chopped and electric windows is not really my style.

Not sure if I can change back to roll up windows with it now having the one peace windows?

Re: Hello....

Welcome from Florida! I'm not a big fan of chopping these trucks either but yours looks like it was well done.

Re: Hello....

Welcome aboard, and thank you for your service!! That's a very nice, clean '67. I typically don't care for the chopped-top look but yours is well-proportioned and looks good.
