As anticipated, both SOLD
I have two units that had minor issues with circuit board trace. These have been repaired and are offered for a fraction of the original price. One unit has a shorter cable connecting the control to the box, I will measure it if you are interested. The other has a nearly three foot cable. These will be advertised in 60-66 model year as well. Will the shorter one work using the choke hole to mount a knob like I've seen done by others?

The 36" that is supplied normally is plenty long to mount the control just about anywhere. The short cable measures about 21" from the box. The power wires are originally 20 and 16" from the box with an inch or so used for strain relief inside the box. You need to reach a terminal in the fuse panel as well as the wiper switch with the distances mentioned above.. You could extend the control wires(22AWG stranded)if you so choose.
