July 2014
Our theme for our flag-waving month of July Truck of the Month (TOTM) contest is:
Blue’n in the Wind So, here is the criteria for this month’s contest.
To Nominate: You or someone else may nominate the vehicle. The nominee must be a board member and the current owner of the truck. Once you decide on who you wish to nominate, just add your nomination to this thread. We will need two pictures minimum (at least one full view of the vehicle) with/for the nomination as well as the owner’s board name, and the Make/Model/Year of vehicle. Nominees will run through June 23. The first 15 nominees that meet the criteria will participate in the contest. I will PM the nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. If the owner has a preferred picture they want used in the contest, please let me know in a PM. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing the pictures for the board. A Poll Thread will be set up by June 24 in this board area and an announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all that voting has begun. The Poll will run thru the morning of July 1 and the official announcement of the winner will be on the evening of July 1. The announcement of the TOTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area.

STP67-72's 1968 Chevrolet C10 CST
(Not sure if this is eligible because of the white roof but it certainly meets the "primary color must be blue" stipulation) Last edited by cericd; 06-16-2014 at 08:48 AM. |

Re: July 2014
So, I'm REALLY not trying to be a dick on this....but Turquoise creates an interesting debate into skirting the criteria. The same justification can be used if you put the truck in an all green category. The color is in the Cyan family, which in definition uses equal amounts of Green and Blue light...making it either BOTH green and blue....or neither.
